| Was a little hesitant at first going in, but that soon dissapated with the warm friendly greeting & professional service. What a beautiful restaurant!!! Spotless, charming and great music too! Then for the very best..."The FOOD is EXCELLENT" We tried the CUBAN Sandwich, I tell you it's better than anything I've had in Miaimi!!! The server recommened the grilled calamari, which I had never had- only fried. I will never, ever in my life have fried calamari again!! This GRILLED calamari ROCKS!!!! And we created our own bruchetta!!! We were shocked that something we created at a restaurant tasted soooo good. Props for this place, I hope they expand!!!!! |

| For those who think that Cuban-Spanish means Mexican this is not the place. Mojitos and Tapas is a great introduction to a distinctive cuisine characterized by some mild spicy dishes. Sea food lovers wil delight with the Grilled Calamari, Ceviche de Camarones, Crab cakes, and Gambas al Ajillo. Meat lovers will relish the savory Tostones rellenos with Ropa Vieja, and Lechon Asado. Every dish I tried was great, bringing me back to the Cuban places in NYC. I never expected to find this kind of "fine" cuisine in Warrenton. Their Mojitos were the best I had in a long time. Owners Marilu and Jackie made me feel right at home with their courtious and friendly personality. The place is beautiful. |

Drove out to Warrenton after hearing about Mojitos and Tapas. Expecting only mediocre Cuban style cuisine after trying others in the area. I spent many years working in West Palm Beach and the Miami area and developed a taste for Cuban food. Let me tell you this place was great! The best Cuban sandwich I've had in a long time.
We started with some crispy green plantains and a classic Mojito, my wife had a Mango; Both excellent. We both ordered Cuban sandwiches, a classic and must try dish. As stated previously, this was a great sandwich. Large portion sizes at a good price. We finished off with some tres leche cake and cuban coffee.
Every dish was as good as I could have hoped it was if I had stepped out of Virginia and back into Miami (if only for a moment). I kept waiting for a dish to come out that didn't impress, I couldn't imagine this type of food being found in Warrenton. Anyway, whoever they have in the kitchen knows what they are doing. The wait staff was friendly and made great recommendations. Overall, we look forward to making the hour trip out again very soon! |
